The line graph is stratified by age groups 0-16 years, 0-4 years and 5-16 years. The line graph shows a seasonal pattern with pneumonia ED presentations in children increasing from February, peaking in August and declining to a baseline line between October and December. The monthly counts in 2015 diverged from the previous 5 year mean from March to September peaking in August at 663 for children aged 0-16 years; June at 388 for children aged 0-4 years and August at 327 for children aged 5-16 years. Children aged 0-4 years presented more frequently to ED for pneumonia, however the difference between the 2015 monthly counts and the previous 5 year mean monthly counts was greater in children aged 5-16 years age group.
