Health Policy Research and Data Program

The Research, Data and Evaluation Division is responsible for the Health Policy Research and Data Program, which commenced on 1 July 2016.

The purpose of the Program is to support the provision of information to the Commonwealth to assist in improving the capacity, quality and safety of the Australian health care system to meet current and future needs. The Program will help build a strong evidence base to inform the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health policy and improved practice in Australia.

The Guidelines for the Program provide an overview of the arrangements for the administration of, and activities that may be funded under, the Program.
