Linda Selvey is a UQ medical graduate. She holds a Masters in Applied Epidemiology and a PhD from the University of Queensland. She also undertook postdoctoral research at the US National Institutes of Health.
A/Prof Selvey has served as an epidemiologist with the World Health Organization, as a senior executive in Queensland Health, as CEO of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, and on various senior national committees. She is also a public health physician with more than 95 peer-reviewed publications.
Since 2012, her research at UQ has focussed on translation of research into practice in public health.
