Changes to the release date of the February 2012 Prostheses List

Due to the finalisation of HTA Review grouping schemes and group benefits the February 2012 Prostheses List will be released on 14 February 2012 with an effective date of 28 February 2012.

Prostheses List Information Sessions


The purpose of this Circular is to inform stakeholders of the Prostheses List Information Sessions to be held in February 2012.


The Department of Health and Ageing will be holding three information sessions, one in Melbourne on Friday 24 February 2012 and two in Sydney on Monday 27 February 2012. Please note these sessions relate to Part A of the Prostheses List and the Health Technology Assessment Review.

The focus of the workshops will be:
  • Application Forms
  • Clinical Evidence Requirements
  • Amendments to Listings
  • Update on the implementation of recommendations from the Health Technology Assessment Review

Date: Monday 27 February 2012
Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm OR 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Venue: Harbourview North Sydney

North Sydney
