Amendment to the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Amendment Rules 2012 (No.2)

Purpose
The purpose of this Circular is to inform stakeholders of an amendment to the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Rules (No. 1). The amended Private Health Insurance (Prostheses) Amendment Rules (No. 2) was registered on 4 May 2012 and commenced on 7 May 2012.

Amendments to Part A
The Amendment Rules amend Part A of the Schedule to the Rules as follows:

Schedule – Amendments
[1] Schedule - Part A – Prostheses List – February 2012

[1.1] at page 667 of 944, after the sponsor column starting “Device Technologies Australia Pty Ltd”, under the heading “Billing Code” “DE370”, omit $91.00.
[1.2] at page 667 of 944, after the sponsor column starting “Device Technologies Australia Pty Ltd”, under the heading “Billing Code” “DE370”, insert $231.00.
