Description of clinic

The Gladstone GP Super Clinic is a new purpose-built building adjoining the Windmill Shopping Centre. The clinic is accessible by public transport (bus stop in front of the clinic) and has ample free car parking.

Early services commenced in December 2010, and the Gladstone GP Super Clinic commenced operations on 22 July 2013.


The clinic provides the following services:
  • general practice, including acute illness treatment and wound management
  • audiology
  • chronic disease management
  • diabetes education services
  • immunisation clinics
  • pathologists, with an on-site pathology laboratory
  • phlebotomists
  • physiotherapy
  • psychologists
  • radiology, ultrasound, CT and MRI services
  • a skin cancer clinic Top of page

Operating hours

Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm

Billing arrangements

There are mixed billing arrangements.

Home visits and visits to residential aged care facilities

General practitioners are available for home visits for incapacitated patients, and for visits to local residential aged care facilities supported by nurses and allied health professionals. General practitioners also have admitting rights to the Mater Hospital in Gladstone and provide daily rounds for their in-patients.

Clinical training arrangements

The clinic has a significant commitment to the education of training of doctors, nurses, and allied health students, and has dedicated and well-equipped space for education and training.

Over the past three years the clinic has provided 7,200 hours of clinical training to allied health students. It is also a training clinic for GP registrars. Top of page
