Summary form 2—Treatment of household contacts
The Treatment of household contacts form allowed data to be collected for household members, with screening questions on:
- Trachoma Prevalence
- Treatment strategy
- Date treatment started
- Date treatment completed
- Number of households requiring treatment
- Number of households that received treatment and
- Comments field
For household members who required treatment with azithromycin the form allowed for this to be recorded in a table where each age groups (in years) were noted, starting from less than 1years (but greater than 3 kg), 1-4years, 5-9years, 10-14years, 15+years and Totals. Screening questions for household members who required treatment were:
- Number of household and community contacts requiring treatment with azithromycin
- Number of household and community contacts who received treatment with azithromycin
- Number of household and community contacts who received treatment with azithromycin within 2 weeks of commencment of treatment distribution
- Treatment coverage(%)
