Overview

This topic considers a range of brief interventions available to workers and young people. A clear definition of the term 'brief intervention' is provided and a close look at when, where and how a brief intervention can occur is discussed. Learners will have the opportunity to practise a brief intervention in the form of a role play and provide constructive feedback.
