To build a case study, you should assemble the following:
- information about the patient's clinical history and relevant physical examination findings
- a list of plausible differential diagnoses
- a list of investigations that yielded abnormal results, with all of the relevant test data and images
- optionally, if full results are available for the patient, a list of all other investigative findings
- a list of investigations that will be nominated as likely to have been ordered by an expert
- information about the diagnostic strategy that is appropriate in such cases
- other relevant information e.g. relating to prognosis or management.
