Aim

Gather information and opinions to inform the development and implementation of a pathology reporting template through a systematic literature review, engagement with general practice, people with diabetes and their carers, and pathology companies.

Dianella Community Health has completed all relevant tasks to date.

General Practices have completed questionnaires with clients who use the template. Both GP’s and Practice Nurses using the template are also required to complete a separate template. General Practice had some issues working with the electronic templates.

All completed questionnaires and data have been forwarded to Melbourne University for analysis and evaluation.

The final evaluation focus group is planned for Thursday 28/06/2012.

Participating GP’s, PN’s and PM’s have been invited to participate in an evaluation dinner and focus group session to be held on Thursday 28th June 2012, at Escagrill in Moonee Ponds. This event will be facilitated by Dianella Community Health.

Representatives from stakeholder organisations involved with the project QUPP; including Dianella Community Health, the University of Melbourne, Diabetes Australia and the Division of General Practice will be in attendance.
